Wallenius Wilhelmsen invests in DeGould to accelerate the supply of automated vehicle inspection systems, powered by AI. “We continue to digitize critical components of our finished vehicle logistics processes and the investment in DeGould is an important milestone in our strategy”, says EVP & COO Logistics Services at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, Mike Hynekamp.
The technology offered by DeGould automates the vehicle inspection process where high resolution images are combined with AI algorithms to deliver full vehicle condition reporting. This leads to a more efficient and flawless inspection process across the full lifecycle of the vehicle. Over the last eight years DeGould has captured over 100 million vehicle image sets on behalf of its customers. The latest product, the new Auto-compact system, incorporates the AI algorithms and sets new standards for defect detection.
